Washington, MO,July 20, 2015 – Sporlan Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, was recognized for excellence in product designin the 12th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 107 entries. The company’s ZoomLock was the Gold Award Winner in the Components and Accessories category. The ACHR News is the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industries.

News Publisher Mike Murphy stated, “These awards give us a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding research and development efforts that go into many of the products serving the HVACR industry and the awards issue gives our readers an opportunity to read about innovative installation and service solutions.”

“The ZoomLock’s patented RLS technology was developed with contractor productivity in mind,” said Scott, Junkin, product manager. “Brazing has been used in HVAC systems for more than a century and takes years to master. With modern-day safety regulations and municipal codes requiring hot work permits, fire spotters, deactivating fire suppression systems, etc., brazing has become much more cumbersome and labor intensive.”

With the ZoomLock fittings, time is saved, consistency is improved, and there are significant increases in safety, resulting in total installation cost reduction that will be instantly seen in the bottom line on every job, Junkin said. “ZoomLock fittings have gone through extensive third-party tests for quality, durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation. We are thrilled to be recognized for this game changing product.”

Winning entries in the Dealer Design Awards were featured in the July 20, 2015 issue of The ACHR News, which is distributed nationally to over 33,000 HVACR contractors, wholesalers, and other industry professionals. For more information and further coverage, visit www.achrnews.com.

New York, NY, January 21, 2014 – Parker’s innovative refrigerant line assembly, a time saving, easy to install, and flexible line-set substitutes for copper tubing and directs refrigerant to system components in low and medium temperature refrigeration applications. This 6-layer flexible rubber tubing includes the patent pending Flexible Aluminum Barrier and is designed to withstand environmental, temperature and pressure extremes while providing excellent installation flexibility and long life. The flexible line eliminates coupling and elbow brazing operations and/or tube bending in long tubing runs as well as refrigerant leakage associated with brazing leaks.

The unique couplings that connect the ZoomLine assemblies to the system connections have multiple barriers and entire assemblies have been rigorously tested using the latest leak detection technologies to ensure no leakage.

Glen Steinkoenig, Sporlan Division Product Manager, commented, “Users find the vibration absorbing ZoomLine® easily pullable like wire because of it’s flexibility and it comes in extended length options.”

He added, “The simple connection and speed of install makes copper tubing obsolete by reducing installed costs, eliminating installation errors and rework resulting in a better bottom line for customers.”

New York, NY, January 21, 2014 – Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has added more and larger models to the CO Series Copper Filter-Driers.

The CO Series product offering is designed to withstand the extreme pressure of transcritical carbon dioxide (R-744) systems while providing complete system protection in a compact design. A unique combination of moisture, acid, and solid debris removal extends the life, reliability, and capacity of these systems that operate under extreme conditions. It can handle the industry’s highest pressures capability with maximum rated pressure of 2,250 psig (UL file SA1756). A patent pending design uses an outer sleeve to provide the high pressure rating and reducing the weight of the product.

The added CO-080 models are ideal for refrigeration applications up to 10 tons and complement the CO-010 and -020 models that are ideal for vending machine and beverage dispensing equipment. Combining ideal capability in a compact size, the CO Series enables system optimization while maximizing protection and cost effectiveness.
