In 1995, Micro Thermo began developing a full line of refrigeration, HVAC, lighting and energy control products to provide supermarket managers, owners and chain operations with precision control and real-time information for effective decision-making. Today, the MT Alliance(tm) software platform is installed in more than 2500 stores throughout North America.
In August 2001, Micro Thermo Technologies was acquired by Carrier Corporation. In August 2010, Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, acquired the company from Carrier.
Micro Thermo Technologies products are targeted toward supermarket chain operations including the EFM Workstation(tm) and MT WEL(tm) – Web Energy Logger.
The Enterprise Facility Management (EFM) Workstation allows stores operators, at the chain level, to view and coordinate the overall operation of all stores via a real-time dashboard. The Web Energy Logger provides energy monitoring, demand response load shedding and real-time pricing services. Micro Thermo Technologies’ energy management solutions enable supermarket operators to obtain the latest information about store energy consumption in real-time, from virtually anywhere in the world.
